Job Details

Plan, organize, lead, and coordinate the activities of approximately 12 engineering, technical, and administrative support staff. Oversee the completion of research, development, fabrication, test and support projects for a mix of U.S. Government and industry clients. Projects emphasize system, hardware and software development for innovative embedded wireless solutions. Application areas include electronic warfare (EW), tracking and locating (RFID), radio navigation, remote sensing and terrestrial/satellite communications. Representative functions include goal setting, promotion of new business, project management and systems engineering. Reports to the department director and together establish strategic objectives for program growth, facilities enhancement, staff development and client cultivation. Responsible for meeting utilization, technical and business objectives in support of successful operations. Frequent travel will be required

Requirements

Education/Experience:

Requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related with 6+ years experience. Must have at least a 3.3 GPA. Professional-level experience with evidence of increasing ability and recognition for leading others and administering to their technical and professional needs. Must have an understanding of radio electronics and radio frequency systems; must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; must have proven success in building and sustaining technical programs and high performing teams; must have experience in the development of technology related to advanced RF communications and have demonstrated success promoting work and running a business unit; must be able to travel. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
