Assistant Director, Master’s in Telecommunications Program (#119535)
The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering is seeking an Assistant Director for the Master’s in Telecommunications (ENTS) program. This is a non-tenure-track full-time position with both academic and administrative responsibilities. The Assistant Director will teach ENTS technical courses, and advise ENTS students on academic matters. Additional responsibilities will include reviewing scholarly papers, developing and updating the ENTScurriculum, contributing to the long-term development of the ENTS program, and supporting the director in the program’s educational, operational, management and strategic activities. The position requires a Master’s degree (preferably a Ph.D.) in electrical engineering, computer science or a related field, specializing in computer networking, computer communications, cyber-security or a similar technical area. Candidates should have at least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in both educational and industrial settings.Excellent teaching skills, written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and good organizational abilities required.
