Job Details

ASIC & FPGA development on R&D program. Senior engineer with experience in developing, testing, and integrating digital signal processing (DSP), high speed digital design, high speed communication and system-on-chip (SOC) implemented on FPGA platforms. Experience with COTS based control platforms and embedded processors on FPGA platforms. Cross discipline collaboration with Systems Architects, RF/Analog & Digital Circuit designers and ASIC/FPGA engineers to create leading edge products for future business growth. Contributor to complex systems employing high speed networking concepts. Provide support and technical direction to entry engineers. Contribute to design, simulation, verification, integration & test of complex, high speed products. Work to be performed with general technical oversight

Basic Qualifications
FPGA & ASIC Design experience.
Language Proficient in VHDL/Verilog for FPGA Development
Developing, testing, and integrating digital signal processing (DSP), high speed digital design, high speed communication and system-on-chip (SOC) implemented on FPGA platforms
Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
Strong lab integration and test skills
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship

Desired skills
- Experience in developing FPGAs and/or ASICs for high-reliability applications including space environments.
- Experience evaluating IP cores from multiple vendors and performing trade
studies to determine optimal solution
- Experience with Mentor Graphics Modelsim or Questasim, Synopsys Synplify Pro, and Libero SoC.
- Experience developing with Xilinx Virtex-5QV, Microsemi antifuse (RTSX
and/or RTAX) and SoC (RTG4) devices and Xilinx 7-series or newer devices
- Experience with AMBA architectures, embedded processors, and IP cores
- Experience designing and/or verifying high complexity modular architectures
- Experience using MS office products is preferred
- Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
