Effectively work as a member of the Drilling Center of Excellence in establishing and maintaining reduced risk in hole-making and related manufacturing processes. Develop standard work approaches and integrate related processes across multiple programs and sites. Responsible for performing product/process surveillance, developing risk mitigation plans, supports training required to implement new procedures. Perform other related duties and assignments as required to enhance process flow

Basic Qualifications
-Technical degree: Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology

Desired skills
-Ability to establish and maintain databases to track status and progress
-Ability to work with and listen to shop floor personnel in order to diagnose issues and formulate solutions.
-Able to perform data analysis, identify manufacturing process deficiencies, and assist with development and implementation of risk mitigation solutions.
-Manufacturing experience
-Experience with methodologies to correct and prevent human errors and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
-Knowledge and familiarity with aircraft composite and machine parts fabrication and assembly and related processes.
-Exposure to standard hole-preparation processes such as drilling, reaming and countersinking
-Self-starter capable and comfortable of working in small teams or individually when required.
-Strong oral and written communication and inter-personal skills to effectively communicate and engage across organizational boundaries

Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident
