Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an engineering lead for the Antenna Pod Integrated Product Team for a radar program. The program is responsible for providing a training system to the customer that emulates foreign radar systems. The main subsystems in the Antenna Pod IPT are a phased array antenna, receiver, EO/IR sensor, and pedestal. This candidate will be responsible for:
• Leading a multi-functional team
• Managing multiple subcontracts
• Ensuring proper subsystem design, fabrication, integration, and test is successful
• Developing and refining the Antenna Pod architecture
• Supporting program reviews
• Interacting with government counterparts
• Engineering success of the Antenna Pod IPT: technical, schedule, and budge


Basic Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
- Must possess general RF knowledge
- Must be familiar with RF circuit design and components to include RF PWB layout, RF circuit testing and troubleshooting
- Experience in RF system and subsystem design and test, basic radar design and theory of operation, radar systems analysis, software-driven radar operations, communication and one-way data link budget, and communication modulation schemes is required
- Ability to develop RF system and subsystem performance requirements
- Ability to use RF test equipment to support acceptance testing, manufacturing production and in-process testing, data processing and analysis
- Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary environment
- Clear, confident, concise, coherent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel to customer locations and field tests

Desired skills
• Advanced RF knowledge
• Advanced radar system analysis
• Experience with designing, integrating, and testing phased array antennas
• Experience with designing, integrating, and testing Electro-optics/Infrared imaging systems
• Experience with creating presentation charts and general status reports, and delivering presentations to customers
• Experience conducting manpower estimating
• Experience with proposal creation
• Experience conducting quality non-conformances
• Experience with developing and implementing corrective action plans
• Experience conducting contractual audits
• Proven leadership skills
• Familiar with typical business practices
