The candidate will provide technical support to a variety of government and internal projects in the area of Antenna and Electromagnetics engineering. The candidate will play a key role in helping MITRE sponsors develop requirements, assess and mitigate risks, and prioritize engineering activities. The candidates responsibilities will include simulating and designing antenna and systems and modeling the electromagnetics structures. The successful candidate will have a background in electrical engineering or physics, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.


Key Functions:

  • Simulating Antennas utilizing commercially available software packages

  • Modeling of on Platform RF and antenna performance

  • Design, develop, integrate and test a variety of RF, microwave and millimeter wave antennas and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with MATLAB, FEKO, CST, HFSS or a similar simulation code

  • Effective oral and written technical communication skills

  • Familiarity with at least two subject areas, typically associated with electromagnetics such as antennas, signal processing, RF hardware and circuit design, or electromagnetic propagation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSEE with related experience in antenna simulations and design
