• Lead the execution of the Analytics and Cognitive Solutions team, one of four teams within the Emerging Technologies organization of the Future Enterprise Program (FEP). The Analytics and Cognitive Solutions team is focused on the maturation of emerging technologies that will fundamentally change how we access, analyze, exploit, and extract value from enterprise date. Initial technical focus areas include data analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Cognitive Assistants (a.k.a. virtual assistants), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Semantic Knowledge Management. The team will focus on the maturation and deployment of emerging technologies to transform Lockheed Martin operations (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain management, and logistics and sustainment)
• Responsibilities include:
o Solutions Group Leadership overseeing the following primary elements:
 Connect the Community
• Lead a team of cross-BA representatives in the execution of all solutions group objectives
• Manage a Community of Practice (CoP) execution strategy that keeps BA subject matter experts in each technical focus area connected on a recurring rhythm throughout the year
 Strategic Roadmapping
• Define and maintain a vision for how each technical focus area will enable the realization of desired future business outcomes
• Lead the development of detailed strategic roadmaps for each technical focus area.
• Ensure roadmaps are aligned with FEP strategic imperatives, BA needs, and program needs
• Collaborate with EBS to identify IT requirements
 Project Definition and Oversight
• Define and oversee an FEP-funded project portfolio (executed by the BAs) that aligns with strategic roadmaps and supports identified BA and programs needs
 Partnership Strategy
• Define and execute a strategic partnership strategy to ensure Lockheed Martin is positioned to embrace and adopt the latest technological advancements as they mature
 Workforce Engagement
• Ensure solutions group work products, best practices, and BA success stories are shared broadly across the Lockheed Martin workforce
• Represent FEP on related CTO FTT teams
• Interface and coordinate activities with the EBS Analytics Center of Excellence
• Identify staffing needs to meet the responsibilities identified above. Support staff will be matrixed to the Analytics and Cognitive Solutions Lead, but will functionally report to the Human/Machines Solutions group Senior Manager
• This position reports to Corporate Engineering and Program Operations, Bethesda, MD. The chosen applicant will have the option to work virtually from their current location

Basic Qualifications
• Experience with Data Analytics -OR- Artificial Intelligence -OR- Machine Learning
• Considered an expert, authority in discipline
• Experience with leading medium to large collaborative engineering projects to successful completion
• Experience facilitating a diverse group of technical and functional professionals to collaborate on common solutions

• The selected candidate must be a Full Spectrum Leader, with demonstrated success energizing teams, openly collaborating, and enabling their best performance
• The selected candidate must be capable of representing Lockheed Martin with professionalism in external settings with senior executives from industry and government
• The selected candidate will be a member of a high-performing virtual team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• The selected candidate must have experience with developing and maintaining strategic multi-year plans
• The selected candidate must have a strong understanding of the aerospace & defense industry operations
• The selected candidate must have insight into industry outside of the A&D sector where emerging technology can be crafted to provide LM with competitive discriminators
• The selected candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent interactions with technical and executive leaders across the enterprise
• The ability to travel for broad business area facilitation and team interaction is required and should be expected at approximately 25% of the time
• Experience with data analytics, AI, ML, Cognitive Assistants (a.k.a. virtual assistants), RPA, Semantic Knowledge Management and other related emerging technologies that are transforming how we extract value from large quantities of structured and unstructured data
• Recognized leader in the field with familiarity of the cross-BA technical community
