Job Highlights:


Candidate will provide Cybersecurity Systems Engineering, Test, Analysis and Assessment Subject Matter Expertise for the AN/TPY-2 Radar Product Office within the Missile Defense Agency Sensors program.  Candidate will apply his/her experience, corporate knowledge, and industry best practices, while collaborating with MITRE colleagues supporting related MDA sensor and weapon system product offices to deliver prioritized recommendations for system design updates and a coordinated and consistent assessment methodology.


Key Functions include:


Candidate will assess current AN/TPY-2 radar system design and historical test findings to assess criticality of needed updates within a the AN/TPY-2 radar system. Candidate will work with the prime contractor and other key government stakeholders to define, develop and implement a systematic test plan and evaluation framework to assess offensive and defensive cyber operations, emerging technologies, and advanced cyber threats and adversary methodologies.


Candidate will also conduct risk assessments and deliver written findings, assessments and recommendations.





Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering (ECE), Computer Science or similar field and 8 years of experience.

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: radar, radar systems, embedded systems, incident response, systems engineering, test engineering, cyber threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, cybersecurity engineering (resilient systems security engineering), and/or cybersecurity analytics.

  • Strong knowledge of advanced cyber threats and adversary methodologies.

  • Ability to document and/or present ideas and findings such that others can easily learn from or make decisions based upon the material.

  • Ability to develop new ideas and techniques that advance the state of the practice for cyber defensive operations.

  • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
