This position is located at Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach, Florida in support of F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program. In this position, the candidate will serve as Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Team Lead and Alternate Information Systems Security Manager (AISSM). The duties include performing mandatory information system security tasks on assigned information systems utilizing Joint Special Access Guide (JSIG), DoD 8500
documents, NIST, CNSSI, F-35 C&A / A&A documentation and other related DoD documents in the F-35 Integrated Training Center (ITC). Tasks include, but are not limited to configuring classified systems, writing System Security Plans and System Profiles, establishing and maintaining configuration management plans, install/update/remove computer equipment, obtaining
government approvals to operate information systems, weekly system audits, anti-virus management, upgrading/downgrading of systems, establishing new user accounts, preparing for and supporting inspections, conduct self-inspection reviews and system reviews/assessments, to include other duties as assigned. ISSOs/AISSMs work under the direction of ITC Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM). Successful candidate must be knowledgeable of information technology security principles, COMSEC, Windows Servers/Clients, PC Desktops, LAN management, and Microsoft suite of applications

This is a multi-tasking environment that demands customer service, communication, and organizational skills. Mission requirements may require other than first-shift work. Perform tasks as the Alternate ISSM when needed providing direction to Cybersecurity staff. Performs as an L-Code manager

Basic Qualifications
1) Must currently posses IAM Level III certification
2) Final Transferable Secret security clearance. Last Periodic
Reinvestigation must be within the last six years.
3) Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access
4) Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Joint SAP
Implementation Guide (JSIG) certification and accreditation
processes and methodologies (or equivalent).
5) Must have and maintain DOD 8570 IAT Level II (Security + CE, SSCP, CCNASecurity, GSEC) and DoD IAM Level III certification (CISSP,
GSLC, CISM) or DoD IAM certification that covers both IAM and IAT.
6) Extensive technical abilities applying full knowledge of systems functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures.
7) Ability to lead others and develop strategies to execute tasks with minimal guidance.
8) Excellent oral/written communication skills
9) Prior experience as a DoD Information System Security Officer/
Information Systems Security Manager.
10) Minimum 3 years of supervising Information Technologists with a specialization in DoD security
11) Experience working cyber security within SAPF environments

Desired skills
1) Proven complex problem solver using ingenuity and creativity
while working with a considerable amount of latitude
2) Experience with central log management systems.
3) Experience with Windows server and security implementations for
protection level 2 IAW RMF and JSIG networks.
4) Ability to develop, integrate, and perform analysis of classified computing
systems and networks operating in various modes.
5) Experience working in a military environment consisting of the USAF, USN
and USMC
6) Two years experience working on the F-35 program
