Rotary Mission Systems is seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for our Automatic Logistics Information System (ALIS) Program. The RTE is an Agile expert and servant leader responsible for working with our development teams to 1) facilitate scaled Agile processes and execution; 2) identify, remove and/or escalate impediments; 3) help manage program risk; 4) ensure value delivery and most importantly 5) drive continuous improvement across our development teams

The RTE performs many of the same functions as an Agile Scrum Master (SM), but does so across all ALIS development teams. The RTE helps ensure that work products in each release train are brought together for delivery in a smooth and timely fashion. To accomplish this the RTE works with the SMs on each team to ensure planning, sprints, demonstrations and retrospectives are performed effectively and synchronized on the program rhythm (program cadence). The RTE will also work with the ALIS leadership team to compile metrics based status and use this status to guide improved planning and execution across the program. The RTE interfaces at all levels to ensure program success

A successful candidate will have a proven leadership record, experience in logistics, maintenance information systems experience, and be an expert in Agile and Scrum

The ALIS RTE can report to Systems Engineering or Software Engineering depending on the successful candidate's current performing organization

Basic Qualifications
Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance and to be cleared to Special Access Programs

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
- A successful candidate will have a proven leadership record, experience in logistics, maintenance information systems experience, and be an expert in Agile and Scrum
- Desire for continuous learning and self-improvement
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with teammates and leadership
- Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle using agile methodologies

- Understanding Aircraft Maintenance and/or Logistic System
