Become a Durability and Damage Tolerance (DaDT) Structural Lead Engineer for the IFG Service Life Analysis Team.
This position is for a Lead Engineer with Cost/Technical/Schedule responsibility for one of five technical teams based on the best fit for the team.
Candidate will provide airframe structural analysis technical oversight in support of F-16/F-22 Force Management needs.
Duties to include execution and management of multiple tasks as leader of multiple sub-teams. Tasks to include: DaDT analysis, development and implementation of Force Structural Maintenance Plan, model development for Individual Aircraft Tracking and field/customer support within the Aircraft Structural Integrity Program.
The Lead Engineer develops and guides technical path for sub-teams to achieve critical organizational objectives, coordinating with manager and program on technical issues.
The Lead Engineer ensures sub-teams execute to plan, responsible for all plans, estimates and BOEs, schedule and budget inputs, coordinating with manager on staffing requirements and priorities.
The Lead Engineer assists manager with staff evaluation, development and training needs. Will lead and mentor less-experienced engineers.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in an Engineering/Technical field
Experience in durability and damage tolerance analysis
Experience in Structural Analysis

Desired skills
Demonstrated understanding of classical aircraft stress analysis, structural load paths, aircraft structural behavior, fracture mechanics and aircraft maintenance requirements
Demonstrated proficiency in structural analysis and structural certification criteria.
Proficient in applying requirements outlined in MIL-A-83444 and MIL-STD 1530 to meet Force Management needs.
Experience in test planning and evaluation
Understanding of airframe drawings & Technical Orders
Understanding of Fracture Control Plans
Familiarity and experience in LM Aero automated tools IMAT, CGRO, STRIFE, and LOOPIN
Demonstrated leadership skills
Strong communication skills
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
Demonstrated ability and desire to identify and implement analytical tool/process improvements.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide early and mid-career engineers.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
