Become part of the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) Loads & Dynamics team
This position is for a Lead Engineer with Cost/Technical/Schedule responsibility for one of these sub-teams:
* Dynamics (vibration analysis & test, equipment qualification, vibroacoustics, structural dynamic analysis)
* Flutter (flutter and ASE analysis and test for modifications and store clearance)
* Service Loads (fatigue spectrum development and maintenance; fleet usage data collection, processing and analysis)
Successful candidate will be assigned a sub-team based on the best fit for the team
The Lead Engineer develops and guides technical path for sub-team to achieve critical organizational objectives, coordinating with manager and program on technical issues
The Lead Engineer ensures sub-team executes to plan, responsible for all plans, estimates and BOEs, schedule and budget inputs, coordinating with manager on staffing requirements and priorities
The Lead Engineer assists manager with staff evaluation, development and training needs

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Master's degree from an accredited college in mechanical or aeronautical engineering or related technical field with relevant experience in a related industry.
Experience working with cross functional teams

Desired skills
General understanding of all Loads & Dynamics disciplines with regards to high performance aircraft
Extensive experience with one of the Loads & Dynamics disciplines listed above with regards to high performance aircraft
Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
Demonstrated ability and desire to identify and implement analytical tool/process improvements
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide early and mid-career engineers.
Demonstrated proficiency in structural analysis and structural certification criteria.
Understanding of Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs under MIL-STD 1530
Understanding of aircraft airworthiness criteria under MIL-HDBK-516C
Understanding of external store certification processes under MIL-HDBK-1763 and MIL-HDBK-244A
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated proficiency in Linux operating system and related tools
