Job Details

Aeronautical Engineer Staff will primarily support design modifications and improvements for primarily structural details, assemblies and installations of the F-22 Empennage and Edges including fixed and moveable control surfaces), Candidate will also support depot operations and act as a focal for engineering support. Technical experience with detailed knowledge of F-22 interchangeability requirements, drawings and specifications, assembly tooling usage, special technology requirements, final finish coating designs, repairs, and standard structural repairs. Additional responsibilities include supporting the F-22 Final finish design changes and improvements, coordinating activities with modernization and supply support. Chosen candidate will support process improvements, incorporate best practices into daily operations, and coordinate lessons learned and needed corrective actions, as appropriate. Will be required to coordinate across a large number of functional areas and LM Aero sites, including Stress/DADT, Quality Assurance, Planning, Functional Test, Structures and Systems Design groups, Safety, Materials and Processes and Special Technology. CATIA proficiency (1000 hours) is preferred. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Previous aircraft MRB authority is desired. Candidate must have good technical, communication, team, and presentation skills

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
CATIA V4 and V5 experience

Desired skills
. Experience F-22 or fighter Empennage and Edge design. Experience in Low Observable platform design and coatings
