Job Details

Provide a common interface point between F-35 Structural Development Engineering and the F-35 Program, ensuring program requirements are provided to engineering and that engineering meets program needs. Functional-program integration responsibilities include: Interacting with competency centers and discipline management to obtain technical consulting services; Communication of program technical status; Staffing and resource definition, communication and forecasting; Assisting in intra-program coordination/arbitration of engineering resources

Responsible for directing all Structures Development activities including cost, schedule, and technical of the F-35. Including:
-Structural, systems installations, wiring harness and interconnect Design Completion and Modernization
-Structural Certification Analyses including flutter and dynamics, loads and criteria, stress analysis, and durability and damage tolerance analysis, and Contract Specification Closure
-Static and Durability Ground Tests, Ground Vibration Testing, Aircraft Proof, Calibration and Drop Testing Programs
-Structural Flight Envelope Clearances, Airworthiness Certifications
-Force Structural Maintenance Plans (ASIP and MESIP)
-Production Support of Material Review and Liaison Engineering
-Provide and Integrate Airframe components and subsystems, including execution of all Structures Development supplier contracts
-Structural Integrity and Design Support of fleet maintenance and depot activities
-Execute all follow-on development activities requiring structural integrity and design support
-Ensure the structural and systems integrity for the F-35 platform for the life cycle of the aircraft
-Proactively leverage the structural capability to enable sustainment and modernization solutions through active partnership with program office IPT leaders, Sustainment, and Modernization leadership

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years industry experience
- Experience with aircraft structures and systems installation design processes, as well as material and production fabrication processes
- Previous senior level leadership experience
