An excellent Systems Engineering position located with our historic Skunk Works Department located in Marietta, Georgia. This position will support an Advanced Development Program (ADP) effort as a Systems engineer in the Advanced Mobility and Maritime Missions Improvements and Derivatives (AMMM I&D) team. ADP is a highly innovative team responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery
The ideal candidate will have systems Integration and test experience with a strong background in aircraft systems such as Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fuel, Propulsion, and Avionics systems as well as airworthiness certification experience. In addition experience with Flight Test Engineering, Power and Thermal Engineering, Requirements Engineering is highly desired. Experience with functional testing, developmental testing and operational testing on C-130 and C-5 aircraft systems and subsystems is desired.
Candidate will provide project management and technical guidance in support of various AMMM I&D projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing development plans and schedules, guiding the team in the execution of the plans and then tracking progress to the plans. The candidate will provide daily assistance to the engineers to resolve conflicts and ensure that the development follows department systems engineering
-This position is located at a facility that requires a security clearance. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance is needed

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university

Technical background in systems engineering, systems development or related field

Experience and knowledge with development processes

Experience in leading engineering teams

Desired skills

Prior experience with Project Management is desired

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
