This position requires an Aircraft Stress Analyst to use their technical expertise to develop innovative and ingenious solutions to highly complex technical problems. The candidate will be expected to define goals, assess analysis approaches, evaluate results, define any required testing and ensure structural integrity requirements are met. The candidate will provide status reports, report major findings to management and customers and advise management on structural questions.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.


Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a clearance

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor or Above Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or equivalent


Must have a Final Secret to Start

Desired skills

Experience with structural analysis by hand methods

Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Understanding of drawing practices, material properties and manufacturing processes

Experience using LM Aero Common Analysis Tools including SLIM/Vision/IDAT

Expert MSC NASTRAN/PATRAN or ABAQUS

Familiarity with CATIA V5

Excellent writing and communication skills

Composites and metallic analysis
